The end of another super week in Year 2. This term has flown by so quickly!
This week the children have written their own lost stories in English, revised missing number problems, multiplication and division in Maths and worked on fluency and vocabulary in Guided Reading.
In PSHE this week we have looked at kindness and random acts of. I have challenged the children to do an act of kindness daily over the next week (and hopefully there after).
We have also been lucky enough to be invited along to an archaeological dig in Oswaldtwistle on Thursday 23rd May from 1-3pm. The event is free and the children will explore archaeological skills such as excavation, finding artefacts, recording and site survey. They will do some digging and associated activities. I am sure you will agree, this sounds like an excellent opportunity for the children. Please ensure you return the permission slip.
As it has been a gorgeous week, we have also managed to complete some of learning outside. May it continue! 🙂
Happy weekend, Miss Trafford
