I think Thursday was our most exciting morning this week when we explored our local area and learnt about the Geography and History of Belthorn. We learnt lots of interesting facts and had to solve a puzzle.
In guided reading this week we have been embracing our love of football and have been reading all about the FA Cup. This has fit nicely with our English Non-Chronological reports topic as we have been learning about true facts and other features. We can impressively recall lots of facts!
In maths, we have been continuing with place value and we have looked at different representations of numbers to 100 and compared them.
In Art, we have been mixing primary colours to make secondary colours and we have been observing and drawing shapes in the style of Paul Klee (our current artist study). We used the secondary colours we had mixed to paint our drawings.
We have continued with photography in Computing and we were excited to take landscape photos of our surrounding area and macro shots.
Have a super weekend,
