Year 3 Blog

Year 3 – 17/5/19

This week we have been exploring circuits and developing switches to go in them. We have discussed safety around electricity, insulators, conductors and current.

In Geography the children (and Mrs Powell) have been getting to grips with Counties. The children have been using Atlases and the internet to record neighbouring counties and research Belthorn.

In English we have been putting together our shape poems, we will be using further time to edit and improve these ready for our display.

In Maths we have started reading the time. This is proving very tricky. Any opportunities to do this at home would greatly help your children.

We have finished our plant investigation and observed how plants grow without one of their fundamental needs.

Our Agamographs look AMAZING! The children have done a really good job. They are now proudly displayed on our Art wall in the corridor.

Have a great weekend.

Mrs Powell
