Another exciting week in Year 3 as we started our work with the Sing together team. Throughout the year, we will be learning lots of songs that will be showcased in a big performance at the end of the year. Most of the songs also come with actions and dances, which we have also begun to work on.
We have looked at characters’ feelings in English and considered how Wilbur the pig’s life has changed when he has to move house.
In Maths, we have completed our work on place value and will be moving onto our next unit on Addition and Subtraction.
The children have also enjoyed looking into different lives of people in the Victorian Age. They were surprised at a lot of the things that poorer people had to put up with, while the rich lived in luxury. We will explore this further over the next few weeks.
A quick reminder that swimming kits need to be in every Monday. The swimming teachers were very impressed with the class this week and we would like that to continue.
Well done everyone for your hard work, we are already halfway to the holidays!!!!
