This week in maths, we have been completing our end of year assessments. A big well done to all the children for their resilience and hard work. It hasn’t been easy and we’ve had to dig deep but the results are brilliant so well done.
In English, we have had a giggle and been learning all about limericks. The children are now going to write their own, I’m looking forward to reading them.
We have learnt about Independence Day this week and made posters with all the information on. The children enjoyed some ‘down time’ being allowed to be creative and make choices on how they set their work out.
We have done a creative write this week where the children had to pick out of a bowl different features to include in their stories. This definitely raised the excitement in class wondering what they will pull out.
Nothing else to report this week, so I will just wish you a happy weekend.
