Year 4 Blog

Year 4 – 19/7/19

A fabulous last full week in Year 4, and the children have all worked hard to get ready for next year. They have had a last refresher on calculation as well as practised some of the sentence structures they can use in Year 5.

Sports day was great and we all enjoyed the morning sunshine before the weather finally changed back to what we usually expect up in the mountains of Belthorn. The biggest news of the week has to be the result of the Teacher/Parent 3-legged race where I joined with Brooke’s mum to smash the competition and take a stunning victory. All the class were very proud.

As I’m writing on Thursday, I can only speculate at how fantastic the day at the zoo will be despite the weather forecast. Fingers crossed it will hold and we can have a lovely warm day out. Children will also bring home their reports on Friday so if you haven’t seen it, ask them for it.

A super year for learning, well done everyone.

Thank you all for your support this year.
