Year 4- 22.11.19

Year 4 this week….
In History we have been learning about another famous Victorian, Grace Darling. We wrote a newspaper report recounting the events that made her a heroine.
In geography, we discovered one of the last un-contacted tribes in the Amazon Rainforest. The Awa tribe and developed questions to ask and are now moving on to documenting the tribe in our very own David Attenborough style.
In Maths we have moved on to multiplication and division. We have been working very practically this week, problem solving and finding patterns.
In English, I am pleased to report, that we have finished our Narrative unit! Some really good stories. Lots of perseverance and hard work have gone into developing these.
In Music we are continuing learning to read notations and play songs on the glockenspiels.
Next week reminders.
School trip on Wednesday; wear uniform, wrap up warm (the mill is cold), school dinner children will get a school packed lunch, bring a snack for the trip and a drink.
Have a grand weekend
