As forecast the weather did pick up through the week and we have got the sunshine we were promised. Year 4 are certainly glad of the air conditioning.
This week they have been working in small groups to put together short plays for ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’. A super story, where disgruntled crayons leave the pencil case in protest about their working conditions. It was great to see the children all working collaboratively to develop and improve a script and they got to show their personalities during the performances.
Maths has seen further exploration of shapes and angles. This has proved tricky for some but we will revisit before the end of the term.
Not long to go before the well-deserved break. Keep up the good work.
Another reminder for any of the class library books (they have a shiny star in the cover) to be returned to me as soon as possible. There is still a handful outstanding.
Thank you Mr Carr
