Belthorn Academy is a place where we do things differently. Our children are given opportunities to express themselves through our ‘Concept Curriculum’ – driven by theirs and their teacher’s interests.
How do we do it? It’s through a passionate and talented team who live and breathe our vision ‘Lighting the Sparks’, doing everything they can to ensure it happens for every child.
It means bringing to life learning in innovative, inventive and engaging ways. It means opening doors to interests our children have never heard of and encouraging them to want to find out more in their own time.
You can see it every day in all that we do.
What’s more, the journey with Belthorn Academy doesn’t end when children leave in Year Six. We’re passionate and proud of the lifelong bonds that we forge with the children and their families.
We never say “goodbye” and encourage our past pupils to visit us for transition days or work experience. We also welcome them to become a part of our ‘Belthorn Born and Bred’ Wall of Fame, where we celebrate our past pupils’ successes and inspire our current pupils to dream big!
